We are going to be on a very tight schedule between the UA Invite and the Coffman meets. Between the meets, we will gather in the HDV Commons for a team lunch. Those not competing at UA should be in the HDV Commons at 1:30 pm. Sub Sale

• All swimmers are required to come to our sub sandwich assembly in the HDV Commons immediately after school on Thursday, February 6th.

Tournament Series

• This season, we are able to enter our entire team into the Sectional meet. The entries are posted on our website.
• Here is a reminder of how the tournament works
• The OHSAA Swimming and Diving series consists of three competitions: Sectionals, Districts, and States. Each year, the coaching staff does its best to enter our entire team into the Sectional meet. This may not always be possible as we are limited in our entries per event. There are instances in which to compete in Sectionals, and a swimmer must swim in a new event. After Sectionals, a swimmer must qualify to advance to the next competition. The top 32 Sectional swimmers and top 24 relays from our Central District moved to the district competition. From the four district meets, the top 32 (3 top finishers from each district and 20 at large) individual finishers then move to the State competition. For relays, the top 24 relays from the four district competitions will advance to the State meet.
• I typically receive District Qualifier information the day after the Sectional meets are complete. When I get the information, I will share it with you. Please remember that Meet Mobile does not have the official results/qualifiers.
• The Monday following the Sectional meets will be the last practice for the entire team. An updated practice schedule is attached.
